Avril Lavigne was named a Favorite Canadian Artist and won Best International Video By A Canadian for “Girlfriend” last Sunday in Toronto, Canada. The ceremony took place at the city's Chum-City Building.
Among the big winners there also were the rock band Billy Talent and My Chemical Romance; the first one won three awards which were Best Video and MuchLoud Best Rock Video for "Fallen Leaves" and Favorite Canadian Group. Favorite International Group became My Chemical Romance as well as “Welcome to the Black Paradise” was admitted by Best International Video Award.
Also among other winners there were Nickelback who won the MuchMoreMusic Award for “Far Away”, “Fergalicious” by Fergie was named as Best International Video – Artist and Hilary Duff as Favourite International Artist.
